VBEAM LASER TREATMENT
At PFRANKMD™, we feature cutting-edge VBeam Perfecta laser technology, an advanced treatment which targets and corrects broken capillaries. Our FDA-approved, non-invasive procedure effectively provides results without harmful side-effects or bruising experienced in the past. VBeam laser treatment offers advanced solutions for individuals suffering from rosacea, facial flushing, leg veins, and scarring. The unique device targets reddened areas without harming tissue or surrounding skin. With VBeam laser, we can promise excellent results with minimal downtime and impressive benefits.
What is VBeam Laser?
VBeam laser technology utilizes an intense pulsed-dye beam of light to treat and heal damaged blood vessels, and bruising. The specialized procedure implements a cooling device that serves to minimize bruising and blistering during your session. VBeam laser minimizes the appearance of mild to moderate scarring and reduces visibility of more severe scars. The treatment requires only minutes of your time.
How VBeam Laser is Performed
The treatment’s power lies in its precision. Pigment Protocol entails the use of two advanced laser technologies to selectively target pigmented areas. This innovative treatment combines the power of the Clear & Brilliant Fraxel and PICO Genesis™ lasers to deliver focused light energy that penetrates the skin and breaks down pigmented areas. Because the laser produces a photochemical reaction rather than a thermal one, the treatment does not affect surrounding, healthy tissue. The result is a more even skin tone without the risk of damage. Our photorejuvenation treatment:
• Delivers laser energy powerful enough to treat superficial and deeply pigmented areas
• Is safe for sensitive skin and all skin colors
• Yields impressive results in fewer treatments
Benefits of VBeam Laser
• Side effects are minimal with non-aggressive treatment
• Procedure is complete in a short time
• Ideal option for individuals afflicted with rosacea and vascular lesions

Here is
what you can do after a facelift
procedure to minimize the look
of the scars and maximize the
healing time.
The Vbeam is a
pulse-dyed laser that can be
used to improve the look and
feel of the scars as well as
shorten the length of healing
time.
For individuals
who are prone to keloids, we can
combine the Vbeam treatment with
cortisone injections to soften
the built-up scar tissue, as
seen in this
patient.
Treatments are
performed monthly until
resolved.
It is
essential to begin scar
treatment as soon as possible,
otherwise the healing process
will be more difficult and
prolonged.
Watch till the
end to see the results after
five treatments.

Injectable
Complication | Overuse of
Daxxify and Filler Reversal with
Hyaluronidase.
Complications
with injectables can happen more
often than you
think.
This patient
received the new neuromodulator,
Daxxify, for crows feet, as well
as filler in her chin, leaving
her with facial
imbalance.
She was not
happy with the way it looked, so
she came to me for some help.
She noticed a few things: her
chin was not symmetrical, she
felt the hardness of the product
in her chin, and she was left
with a bruise on the corner of
her eye for a week from the
injection site, which is normal.
Daxxify is an
extremely powerful neurotoxin.
While it may have longer
longevity, Daxxify can sometimes
overpower the patient’s needs,
and should be used more
conservatively with younger
patients.
I used
Hyaluronidase to melt the filler
that was placed in her chin,
fixing the complication within
24 hours. What a lot of people
don’t realize is that
neuromodulator injections placed
in the upper face, can sometimes
affect the smile and the lower
face. What product you use along
with the injection technique is
going to affect the way it looks
and feels.
The bruise
on her eye was easy to correct
with our Vbeam vascular laser. I
always recommend going to a
provider who has a vascular
laser to reverse any
bruising.
It’s easy to
be a great doctor when things go
right, but what matters is being
a great doctor when things go
wrong. Being able to quickly
correct bruising and
complications is an essential
part of being in this industry,
and at PFRANKMD, we have all the
tools to make sure you leave
looking and feeling your
best.

After
having ankle surgery, this
patient developed an elevated,
discolored hypertrophic scar.
These scars develop as a result
of the body continuing to make
collagen even after a lesion has
healed.
By using a
combination of techniques in the
right sequence, we were able to
significantly lighten the scar`s
color and texture.
We
used the Vbeam pulsed dye laser
first to minimize redness,
thickness, and inflammation.
Then, to improve the scar`s
texture, tone, color, and
cosmetic appeal, I used both
the non-ablative and ablative
Co2 Fraxel laser resurfacing
techniques.
This scar
was treated over a years time
with 2-4 treatments of the
various options discussed.
Performed early,
preventively, and
prophylactically, we can
dramatically improve the healing
optimizing the end result and
its look.
You can start
laser treatments for surgical
scar reduction 4-6 weeks after
having surgery.

Some
surgeries are totally
unavoidable, but that doesn’t
mean unsightly scars aren’t!
This patient had spinal
surgery and we prophylactically
treated the scar with the Vbeam
pulsed dye laser to get the
redness and inflammation out of
it as soon as possible.
The longer a scar stays
red and inflamed, the worse it
will look cosmetically in
the end. That’s why it’s
essential to treat scars early.
